The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has cut its petrol price for the third time in December 2025.

A survey of filling stations in Abuja on Thursday revealed that NNPCL has lowered the pump price to N835 per liter, down from N915, marking a reduction of N80.

The price adjustment follows similar reviews by other fuel marketers, including MRS, BOVAS, and AA Rano, which had earlier set their petrol prices between N739 and N865 per liter in the capital.

The recent cuts come after Dangote Refinery and depot owners reduced their ex-depot fuel prices to between N699 and N800 per liter.

NNPCL and other filling stations previously reduced petrol prices on December 4 and December 10, 2025, reflecting ongoing adjustments in the market.
