“At times it leads to raping of innocent girls,” NYSC member says
Angry Nigerians on social media are calling on law enforcement to investigate a serving NYSC member after he made alarming remarks suggesting he might be a danger to women.
The corps member, in a comment on Facebook, stated that when “sexual urges start, we lose our senses. At times it leads to raping of innocent girls.” He further added, “We need serious prayers. Women’s gender don’t know how we feel when sexual urges start.”
His comment was made in response to a post about a married man who allegedly raped a mentally unstable woman. While some users defended his statement, many condemned it and began reporting him, urging the police to ensure he does not have access to young women at his place of service.
The statements have sparked widespread outrage, with calls for authorities to investigate and take appropriate action to prevent potential harm.
