Uba Sandra Chisom, a Nigerian woman, has publicly expressed her sorrow following the death of a lady who reportedly died after undergoing surgery to remove cotton wool allegedly lodged in her womb.

Sandra, who disclosed this in a Facebook post on Friday, May 9, said the woman used the cotton during her period, and it apparently caused an infection.

“It’s a sad day for me ! I lost someone yesterday and the cause of her death was that she uses cotton wool during her period and it entered her womb,” she wrote.

“It was too painful that after the operation, she couldn’t make it.
