A Nigerian woman, Evelyn Isaac, has accused her husband, Isaac Mefo, of domestic violence, alleging that he physically assaulted her.
In a Facebook post on Sunday, February 9, 2025, the Uyo-based mother of two expressed her distress, stating that she had endured enough.
“God will punish you Isaac Mefo for beating me this afternoon. Have tolerated enough,” she wrote.
Seeking strength, she added, “God, I need all the strength n love I could get at this point n I know U will do it for me,” she added.
The revelation has come as a shock to many, as the couple celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary just two months ago, in December 2024. In a heartfelt anniversary message at the time, Evelyn had expressed prayers for continued love and happiness in their home.
“Congratulations n happy wedding anniversary to me n mine. Wishing us more love n sweetness in our home. Happy 7years wedding anniversary to us my darling husband. It can only be God,” she wrote.
Evelyn’s latest allegations have sparked waves of conversations on social media, with many expressing concern for her well-being and calling for legal action against domestic violence.
