Dr. Olawale Ogunlana, a Nigerian doctor, has issued a stern warning to pregnant women, advising them not to refuse medically recommended cesarean sections (CS), as doing so could result in death.
In a post shared on Saturday, January 25, Dr. Ogunlana emphasized the dangers of rejecting a C-section when it is deemed necessary for the safety of both the mother and the baby.
He urged women to consider their health options carefully, stating,
“You’re not a Hebrew woman. You’re a woman in Nigeria or a country in Africa with very limited health options.”
“You will die during childbirth if you make stupid choices like refusing CS when medically required.
“Let everyone just know what they’re doing,” he wrote
