Renowned business mogul and philanthropist, Alhaji Usman Bako Zuntu, in Zaria, Kaduna State, has died.
A family source said Zuntu died at the age of 84, after a protracted illness at Al-Madina Hospital, GRA, Zaria in the early hours of Friday.
Born in 1939 in Zuntu, Kubau Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Zuntu had been a resident of Magume, Tudun Wada Zaria, and was an employer of labor.
He was a large-scale farmer who used his wealth in assisting the underprivileged people in society.
Until his death, he was a contractor and a major dealer in essential commodities with PZ Nigeria plc.
According to the family source, he is survived by two wives, 26 children, and many grandchildren.
