The
Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) on Thursday dismissed reports
alleging that a preferred bidder has been anointed for the acquisition
of telecom giants, 9Mobile.
This is contained in a statement signed by its Director of Public Affairs, Tony Ojobo.
He insisted that the process for the acquisition of 9Mobile is still ongoing.
Ojobo said Barclays Africa remained in full control of the process leading to the emergence of new owner for the company.
