Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has set social media abuzz after hinting at a romantic relationship with Edo State lawmaker, Natasha Osawaru.
The revelation follows reports of his separation from his wife, Annie Idibia, with the singer stating his intention to take things further with Osawaru.
Speculation intensified after 2Baba made a surprise visit to the Edo State House of Assembly during plenary on Monday. This was followed by the emergence of a video showing him and Osawaru together at a Lagos nightclub.
2Baba Addresses Allegations
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, 2Baba responded to the swirling rumours in a video captioned:
“To Whom It May Kwansighn. #I don yarn my truth. Feel free to continue alleging. We shall all be alright.”
He dismissed claims that Osawaru was involved in his marital issues with Annie, saying:
“Allegedly, I have been seeing so many things, so many people coming up with their own false narratives and malicious nonsense after I posted that stuff that I posted. Yes, I posted what I posted.
“Hon. Natasha has been dragged, she has been called all sorts of names, she has been labelled as a home breaker. She is a young, brilliant, amazing woman and she had nothing to do with what is happening between me and Annie in our marriage.”
He continued, “Yes I love her, she is amazing, she is cool, I want to marry her.”
Natasha’s name quickly became the top-trending topic on X by Wednesday morning as social media exploded with reactions.
