Popular Nigerian singer, Abdulazeez Fashola, better known as Naira Marley, has sparked discussions with his latest religious statement.
Taking to his X (Twitter) handle, the artist emphasized that belief in Jesus is essential for every Muslim.
“No Muslim is a Muslim if he does not believe in Jesus (Peace be upon him),” he wrote.
Since the start of Ramadan, Naira Marley has been actively sharing religious insights, engaging his followers in discussions about faith and spirituality.
His comment aligns with Islamic teachings, which recognize Jesus (Isa in Arabic) as a prophet and messenger of God, sent to the Children of Israel with the Gospel. However, while Christians believe Jesus is the Son of God or God incarnate, Muslims view him strictly as a revered prophet.
