Banditry, being a type of an organized crime committed by outlaws, a concept of criminality and presently used synonymously to gangsterism, brigandage, marauding and terrorism has enjoyed being used as a term to describe the excesses of a member or band of marauders and this does not only exist offline or in the Nigeria communities or bushes as it has successfully developed and launched a more sophisticated branch that has similar or more blood draining effects on the Nigeria society.
This branch of banditry is also organized and safely lodged in the political space and particularly, Plateau as a State, launched hers in 2015 when Ex-Gov. Simon Lalong assumed office.
Unthankfully, the immediate past Governor was generous enough to have continued to fund the criminality attached to the Media throughout his first tenure until he exited the corridor of Governance, May, 2023.
One of the major influencer of the cankerworm on the Plateau between 2015-2023 and it’s remnants today, was nothing short of poor leadership.
It is mandatory for any leader Who comes to power on a platter of gold and had no blueprint to recruit agents who only think backwardly for the job of painting white, every black aspect of his administration and this process of recruitment, the recruited and their activities can be said to be as worst as the bandits in the bushes.
These bandits bred by the past administration have had to rationalize killings of innocent souls, defend the demolition of the terminus market at a whooping sum of 2Billion Naira and have had to also rationalize the spiritual disappearance of the 400 tractors procured with Plateau State tax payers money. They have had to celebrate prompt payment of salaries as an achievement even when they knew payment of workers emoluments and other benefits are rights and not privileges. They have had to justify the midnight recruitment of teeming Plateau youths into the civil service even when they knew the citizenry was dubbed and the entire process was politically romanced and later raped. They have had to also rationalize the executive meditation that was being untimely observed by the immediate past governor when there was a callous attack on the good people of Yelwa-Zangam in the Jos North Local Government Area of the State.
One thing these bandits never ran short of, is the justification of all questionable areas of Ex-Governor Lalong’s Leadership and these are just few of the dirty jobs perfected by the State Chapter of Media BANDITS during the so-called ‘Rescue Mission’ regime that instead, gambled and endangered the State before handing over to His Excellency, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, the Man that knows what to do, how to do it and when to get it done, perfectly well.
Notably, leadership; like what Gov. Mutfwang is dishing out, isn’t rocket science because rocket science is led by equations and formulas and anyone who really understands the scope of the Job he sought would find no difficulty to execute projects and better the lives of the citizenry.
Gov. Mutfwang, the first love of Plateau State as at May 29th, 2023 till date, having being elevated to the position of the Executive Governor of Plateau State at a trying moment has validated statements he made during campaigns and the day he was inaugurated to sail the ship of the State.
He has shown preparedness and readiness to turn around the fortunes of Plateau, restore her past glory and these are evident in the infrastructural strides and prioritizing the wellbeing of the entirety of citizens of the State.
No one throws stones at a tree that doesn’t bear good fruits, they say. This saying applies to Gov. Mutfwang who had refused to create an iota of space for excuse or failure in his government. Believing the tempo will be sustained, the optimism that his administration will neither birth nor breed Media bandits can’t be crushed as the love and support for his administration has continued to skyrocket as the insults, propaganda and character assassination against him keep coming from the remnants of the distinguished media bandits bred by the immediate past administration.
Barr. Caleb Mutfwang, being an answer to PLATEAU’S many questions is still equipped as he came and has a special and unique -interesting-breaking-news for each passing day. He’s one Governor that speaks using actions and not mere words, as one who said he must rebuild the Jos main Market and nothing changed afterwards.
As the able and people-centered Leadership of his Excellency, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang progresses, the people of Plateau State can be sure of life-changing dividends of democracy and definitely, the Media will remain stocked with neither unfounded or fabricated lies but so much verifiable information for the people’s consumption until he exits Government house come 29th May, 2031.
