Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang and Deputy Governor Ngo Josephine Piyo on Sunday marked three years in office with a thanksgiving service in Jos, expressing deep gratitude to God and the people of Plateau State for their support and resilience.

The service, held at COCIN Headquarters Church in Jos, brought together religious leaders, traditional rulers, political stakeholders, and citizens from across the state to reflect on the administration’s journey and achievements.

Governor Mutfwang described the past three years as challenging but transformative, noting that his administration had overcome political, legal, and security hurdles through what he called God’s grace and the support of Plateau people. He also expressed appreciation for women, youths, and children who stood by the administration during the period of legal and political uncertainty.

He highlighted key achievements in pensions, healthcare, water supply, infrastructure, and social services, including the settlement of over ₦16 billion in pensions and gratuities and ₦4 billion in medical support to vulnerable residents.

The Governor also pointed to improvements in the health sector, stating that the Plateau Specialist Hospital now operates upgraded facilities, including a well-equipped laboratory, alongside enhanced ambulance and drug supply systems.

He reaffirmed his commitment to unity, peace, and development, urging citizens to remain supportive as the administration enters its fourth year.

Deputy Governor Ngo Josephine Piyo, in her remarks, appreciated the people of Plateau for their trust and highlighted ongoing efforts in road rehabilitation, agriculture, education, healthcare, and youth empowerment aimed at improving livelihoods across the state.

Traditional and religious leaders at the event commended the administration for its focus on peacebuilding and development, while also urging continued unity and support for government efforts.

The thanksgiving service featured prayers for sustained peace, improved security, and continued wisdom for the state leadership as they advance their development agenda for Plateau State.
