The
member of the House of Representatives for Vandeikya/Konshisha Federal
Constituency, Rt. Hon Mrs Dorothy Mato appeals to wealthy Nigerians to
use part of their wealth for philanthropic purposes to elevate
Nigerians.

During the thanksgiving and grand reception organized
in her honour by elders of Mbangur community, Mbadede, Vandeikya LGA,
Benue State, on Sunday 26, 2017; she said the money she makes at the National Assembly belongs to her constituency.

The
Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Moses Msughter Ate and many others have
acknowledged her for elevating the people of her constituency while she
was a member of the Benue State House of Assembly through her enormous
contributions to education, health, community development,
infrastructural development, youth and women empowerment including
orphans and vulnerable children.

She donated 200 bags of cement and N200,000 in support of St. Peter’s Catholic church project, Mede.

Rep.
Mato says wealthy Nigerians should use their accumulated property to
elevate the human race; the wealthy person being a steward or trustee
for the human race, should use “his superior wisdom, experience, and
ability to administer this wealth as a trust fund for philanthropic
purposes and that philanthropists should support projects including
educational ones, that would enable those who wanted to help themselves
to become more industrious.

She has always appreciated the wife
of the Benue State Governor, Dr Eunice Erdoo Ortom, Tony Elumelu, Wale
Adenuga, Mike Adenuga, among others for their contribution to elevating
the human race.
