The visit was aimed at assessing the situation, sympathising with survivors and providing support to victims of the attack, which reportedly claimed the lives of about 26 people and left several others injured.

Among the survivors is a girl below the age of two who reportedly lost both parents during the attack and sustained bullet wounds. She is currently receiving medical treatment.

The ASM Charity team expressed deep concern over the loss of lives, particularly the killing of entire families, including women and children, describing the incident as a painful and disturbing reminder of the devastating impact of violence on communities.

As part of its intervention, the organisation pledged to cover the medical expenses of victims receiving treatment.

The charity team also announced plans to install solar-powered street lights in the community, saying the initiative is intended to improve visibility at night and reduce the darkness that could be exploited by attackers.

Speaking to residents, the team urged them not to allow the attack to break their spirit, encouraging them to remain resilient, united and hopeful despite the tragedy.

The organisation assured the community that it would continue to support efforts aimed at easing the suffering of affected residents.

The team said the tragedy should not be allowed to define the future of the community, stressing that despite the persistence of violence, good will ultimately triumph over evil.
