Manchester United have terminated Ruben Amorim’s contract as manager following his comments after Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Leeds United.
The Portuguese coach publicly criticized the club’s hierarchy during a post-match press conference, urging them to “do their jobs.”
Amorim, 40, departs Old Trafford after a turbulent 14-month spell in charge. Under his leadership, United currently sit sixth in the league after 20 fixtures.
The club has yet to announce a replacement. Further updates are expected.
