Head coach of the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr, has called up four
players from the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), for
Tuesday’s international friendly against Liberia.
The players are: Ebube Duru, Mfon Udoh, Olamilekan Adeleye and Sunday Adetunji.
They are all expected to join 21 Super Eagles players on their return
to Lagos from Victoria, where they defeated Seychelles 3-0 in
Saturday’s 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifying encounter.
On Monday, they will depart Lagos for Monrovia, ahead of the game.
The friendly, billed for the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex, was
arranged in honour of country president and 1995 FIFA World Player of
the Year, George Weah.
