NBA superstar LeBron James is reportedly set to earn $15 million annually from a new endorsement deal with prediction-market company Polymarket.
According to Front Office Sports, the deal would see the 41-year-old basketball star earn significantly more from the sponsorship than from his new NBA contract with the Philadelphia 76ers.
James recently agreed to a two-year, $8 million contract with the Sixers, following a pay cut from his previous NBA deals. The agreement reportedly works out at about $4 million per year, making his Polymarket endorsement nearly four times his annual NBA salary.
The four-time NBA champion earned $53 million during the 2025–26 season with the Los Angeles Lakers. According to Spotrac figures cited in the report, his career NBA earnings have now surpassed $581 million.
James was recently featured in a Polymarket advertisement alongside several prominent sports and entertainment personalities, including Spike Lee, Reggie Bush, Richard Sherman, Derek Jeter, Sue Bird and Eli Manning.
The partnership has, however, generated criticism among some fans because of James’ previous comments about sports gambling.
In 2023, James spoke about the growing focus on betting among sports fans and expressed concern that gambling could affect the way some people engage with the game.
Polymarket has maintained that it is a prediction market rather than a traditional betting platform, despite the similarities between the two models.
The latest endorsement adds to James’ extensive portfolio of commercial partnerships as he enters another chapter of his NBA career with Philadelphia.
