The immediate past commissioner of local government and chieftaincy
affairs in Plateau State, Hon Dayyabu Garga on Monday rated the Plateau
State governor Simon Lalong high saying he is doing excellently well
since he became governor of the state.
He also said that Lalong has brought sanity and direction to governance in the state .
Our governor Simon Lalong is doing well in prompt payment of workers
salaries and pension of our retireees,now civil servants do their jobs
well because they are well motivated .
He also appealed to the people of Plateau State to continue to
support the Simon Lalong led administration in the State if he decides
to re contest the 2019 governorship election.
He made this known while handing over to the Permanent secretary of the ministry Mr James Yilnaan
It could be recalled that Governor of Plateau State Simon Lalong had recently dissolved the State Executive Cabinet
The governor also directed the Commissioners to hand over to Permanent Secretaries in their respective ministries.
Speaking at the Hand over, Dayyabu said he would remain grateful to
Gov Lalong for giving him the opportunity to serve the people of Plateau
as Commissioner for local government and chieftaincy affairs in the
state.
Also speaking at the occasion, the Permanent secretary of the
ministry James Yilnaan said he enjoyed working with the outgoing
Commissioner stressing that he carried out lots of transformation in the
ministry as Commissioner.
