Reality TV star and businesswoman Kim Kardashian has revealed that she employs five nannies to help care for her four children whom she shares with her ex-husband, Kanye West.
The 45-year-old SKIMS founder made the disclosure during a recent interview with The Times, where she opened up about her family life and the arrangements she has in place to manage her busy career alongside motherhood.
Kim and Kanye are parents to North, 13, Saint, 10, Chicago, eight, and Psalm, seven. She explained that although she has five nannies, they do not work simultaneously. Instead, one nanny is on duty while the other four are part of a rotating team.
Despite having a team of caregivers, Kim said she remains actively involved in her children’s daily lives. She personally takes them to school and picks them up, has dinner with them every evening and reads to them before bedtime.
“I think I am an intermediate-strict parent,” Kim said, describing herself as “extremely patient and loving.” She added that she still allows her children to sleep in her bed when they want to.

Kim also spoke about her children’s appearances on the family’s reality show, The Kardashians. She said each child is allowed to decide how much they are comfortable participating, while her younger children may be present during filming without being given major storylines.
The mother of four said she remains particularly careful about the opportunities offered to her children, noting that she wants them to enjoy their childhood rather than rush into every opportunity that comes with growing up in the public eye.
