Festus Keyamo, the Spokesman of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council has reacted to a video of the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu mumbling words at a town hall meeting.
Following the backlash the video received, Keyamo stated that Tinubu showed his sense of humor by using tongue twisters to mock his opponents.
Tinubu recently held a town hall meeting with the private sector in Owerri, the Imo State capital.
A clip from the meeting where Tinubu appeared to use tongue twisters has been trending.
According to Keyamo, Tinubu meant that he preferred a proper town hall meeting to the gibberish his opponents say elsewhere.
The minister of state for labor and employment said in a tweet on Saturday morning, “Listen to the sense of humor of @officialABAT. He says he prefers a proper town hall meeting to the gibberish his opponents say elsewhere.
“He practically demonstrates the gibberish they say by uttering those tongue-twisting words to show the nonsense his opponents say elsewhere.”
