Kaduna Mother Appeals for Help as Two Children Remain in Captivity Seven Weeks After Abduction

A mother in Kaduna State, Dominic Tina, has appealed to the public for assistance in securing the release of her two children who were abducted by suspected kidnappers seven weeks ago.

Tina, who made the appeal in a Facebook post, said the children were kidnapped in Rimi Kamazou, Kaduna State, and that repeated efforts by the family to secure their release had yielded no positive results.

In her post, the distraught mother shared photographs of the children taken on Sunday, August 30, before their abduction, alongside another photograph she said was sent to the family by the kidnappers.

She appealed to social media users to help circulate the images and her message in the hope of drawing attention to the children’s plight and facilitating their safe return.

The mother expressed frustration over the family’s inability to secure the children’s release despite their efforts, saying they no longer knew what else to do.

Her appeal has renewed concerns over the safety of abducted children and the emotional distress experienced by families whose loved ones remain in captivity.

As of the time of the report, there was no further information on the children’s whereabouts or any confirmed development regarding efforts to secure their release.
