The road of the Plateau State House of Assembly has been barricaded by protesting Plateau youths following the continuous impeachment saga at the state house of assembly.
The youths who mobilized in their numbers in the early hours of Monday 1st November and later started bearing placards with different inscriptions soliciting support for the embattled speaker, Nuhu Abok Ayuba who was recently impeached.
You will recall that in the early hours of Thursday 28th October 2021 Rt Hon Yakubu Sanda was elected new speaker after a vote of no confidence was passed on embattled Hon Nuhu Abok by what was said to be over 16 members of the assembly.
Meanwhile the Impeachment saga has continued in the state after a swift reaction by supposed impeached speaker, Nuhu Abok Ayuba who later that day in possession of the maze inturn suspended 6 members of the house.
However the Plateau State Governor Simon Lalong has welcome the change in the state by hosting the new Speaker Hon Sanda with commitment to work with him.
