The Plateau Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (PLACCIMA) has nominated Mrs. Bolcit Barshep-Amakiri as its new Vice President, Commerce.
The nomination was made during the Executive Committee (EXCO) meeting of the Chamber held on August 11, 2026, to fill the vacant position following the death of Alhaji Yusuf Sarumi, who previously occupied the position.
In a formal letter signed by the Executive Director of PLACCIMA, Dauda Gashi, on behalf of the President, Barshep-Amakiri was informed of her nomination and urged to formally acknowledge and accept the new responsibility without delay.
The letter conveyed the Chamber’s congratulations to Barshep-Amakiri on what it described as a well-deserved nomination.
Barshep-Amakiri, who is the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Anista Marketing and Events Ltd., Jos, Plateau State, is expected to assume her new role as Vice President, Commerce, within PLACCIMA.
The appointment comes as the Chamber continues to strengthen its leadership structure and advance its mandate of promoting commerce, industry, mining and agriculture in Plateau State.
