Streets within Jos Plateau State on Thursday, 1st December, witnessed unusual fun and excitement, it was the Jos Chillin’ Street/Cultural Carnival and Bikers Parade. The event took center stage, with various Carnival Groups starting from Five different points within the town and later proceeding to the Grand Finally at theSecretariat Junction Overhead Bridge.
The winning Dance Crew (The Spotlight) had the Sum of One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira and the Runner up (ShereHills) a Hundred thousand Naira. Innocent Idibia aka 2baba in preparation for the 2nd December Christmas Carol, showed up at the venue of the carnival to congratulate the winners and present the cash reward.

The Jos Chillin’ project aims at re-positioning Jos as a go
to location for tourism, by promoting peace, unity, harmony and pride in
the cultural identity of the people of Jos, Plateau through the use of
star power, colourful messaging, entertainment and grassroots youth
engagement.
Jos Chillin Events will have a boasted line up
of superstars including – 2baba, MI, Ali Nuhu, Phyno, Kelly Hansome, Sani Danja,
Lil Kesh, Osama Akpunonu, Jeremiah Gyang, Koker, Di’Ja, Ruby Gyang, Acetune, Eva, Young L, Blackah, Lucky Starz Band and lots more.
