The Plateau State Government has indicated its interest in partnering with Plateau Agriculture Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture ( PLACCIMA ) in making the forthcoming 2020 Jos trade fair a huge success.
State Commissioner for information and communication, Hon Dan Manjang made this known when he hosted the President of PLACCIMA Elder Bulus Dareng, MD/CEO of Anista Marketing and Events Limited Bolcit Barshep and the team of organizers for the Jos trade fair.
Honorable Dan Manjang stated that the Governor Lalong led administration is committed to supporting the Jos Trade Fair as it opens doors for small and medium entrepreneurs to showcase their innovations and products; having gone through various processes of training and coaching by the Plateau Small and Medium Enterprises Agency (PLASMIDA).”
Vice President of PLACCIMA Chief Simon Tangni, who represented the President commended the Simon Lalong led administration for his efforts at restoring peace and fighting the dreaded coronavirus pandemic. He stressed that the team was committed to contributing their quota in boosting economic activities in the state as such all COVID 19 led down protocols would be obeyed at the trade fair.
Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Anista Marketing And Events, Bolcit Patience Barshep said that the 2020 edition Theme: Trade Fairs: a platform for Promoting MSME’s in a Challenging Economy is apt in assisting small business to cope with the effect of the Covid-19 pandemic. Further assuring that the organizers with the guidance of the COVID_19 pandemic team will ensure exhibitors and visitors shop in a safe environment.
The Jos Trade Fair is scheduled for her 2020 Edition on 15th of October at the Popular Jos Polo Field hosting hundreds of exhibitors, showcasing local products, technologies, services and opportunities as it is open to the general public.
