As Nigerians continue to call for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to be held responsible for last Saturday’s election, a press release by the electoral body denying rumors that it was planning to dump the IREV that’s in the electoral act 2022 has surfaced online.
Recall that Labour Party, Peoples Democratic Party, and other parties have since rejected the election.
In the press release, INEC denied the alleged plot to abandon the transmission of polling unit results to the IRev portal in real time.
