Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has announced a N10,000 salary raise for civil servants in the state.
The announcement was made during a stakeholder meeting held at Rockview Hotel in Owerri on Saturday, which has made workers in his state very happy
The decision to increase salaries comes as a response to the removal of fuel subsidy, which has resulted in a significant increase in the cost of living for citizens across the country. Recognizing the financial strain this has imposed on civil servants, Governor Uzodimma took the initiative to provide some relief.
