Oderhwo Joseph Efe, widely known as Carter Efe, a popular Nigerian skit maker and content creator, has sounded the alarm about being targeted by a blackmailer in possession of his private video.
The content creator, famous for his humorous skits, shared his concerns about the looming threat of his bedroom video being leaked to the public.
The ‘Machala’ crooner said he decided to notify the public before his private video was released by the blackmailer.
On his X handle, Cater Efe wrote, “I am here to publicly announce that I am being blackmailed. And that my s*xtape will be released soon.
“I am just here to let everyone know before it’s out.”
There is a growing trend of private videos of Nigerian celebrities leaking online.
Nollywood actress, Moyo Lawal made headlines recently after her private video surfaced on the internet.
She, however, clarified that the bedroom video was with her estranged fiance and that it was released without her consent.
The thespian threatened to take legal action.
