Former Big Brother Naija housemate Ka3na has addressed criticism after sharing a photoshopped version of Davido and Chioma’s pre-wedding photo, replacing Chioma’s face with her own.
Ka3na had posted the edited image with the caption:
“Bloggers be out here photoshopping my wedding pics… Here’s the real photo. Y’all made our day so special. #Chivido2025. Congratulations to the bride & groom @davido @thechefchi.”
While intended as a joke, the post drew backlash from many Nigerians who accused her of disrespecting the couple.
Responding in a lengthy Instagram statement, Ka3na said she meant no harm and had no romantic interest in the singer.
“Please, I do white men only,” she wrote, explaining that she became a millionaire at 19, married at 22, and a mother at 25.
The reality star insisted she genuinely admires Davido and Chioma, prays for their union, and often speaks well of their relationship. She questioned how many of her critics actually pray for the couple instead of offering what she described as “fake public love” online.
Describing herself as a virtuous woman, widow, single mother, and businesswoman facing real-life challenges, Ka3na urged Nigerians to avoid letting insecurities fuel false judgments.
“I pray God softens our hearts so we can laugh at jokes and not judge others wrongly,” she added, noting she had planned to delete the post after 24 hours — not due to online pressure.
