I am not sick, I want to go home- Benue?#COVID19?index case demands (audio)

Susan Okpe Idoko, the Index case of COVID19 in Benue state says she wants to go home as she is not sick. Few days ago, Idoko posted a video online
in which she accused the Federal government of detaining her against
her will. She tested positive for the virus shortly after her return
from the UK in March.

The Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire,
on Tuesday April 14th, denied her claim, saying she has been tested
twice for the virus and it came back positive but she has not shown any
symptom of the viral disease. The minister said she cannot be released
because the disease is infectious and some patients remain asymptomatic.
He said a third test would be carried out on her soon and if it comes
back negative, she would be discharged.

In a chat with Channels TV from the Abuja Isolation center, Okpe said
she has not been treated since arriving the Abuja Isolation center.
According to her, she is not sick. She added that she doesn’t trust
Nigerian doctors and is demanding they allow her return to the UK.

”I am not sick, I am being held here. I came in formy mum’s burial
butbecause of this lockdown, it’s being postponed. If the burial is not
holding let me go and meet my children in London. I am not sick.”
