The Plateau State commissioner of commerce and Industry, Aspirant for Jos/North Bassa Federal constituency, Hon. Joseph Abbey Aku has condemned the recent attacks on innocent lives in Ta’agbe Village of Miango Plateau State.
Hon. Aku noted that the attack on Friday, 26th November 2021, left many Persons including Children killed and houses burnt, was another attempt by criminal-minded persons to disrupt the hard-earned peace thereby putting the State in a bad light.
He expressed concern over the increasing waves of attack on innocent and defenseless people in Miango with no justification and further called on the security agencies to act swiftly to unmask those behind the attacks.
Hon. Joseph Abbey Aku while sympathizing with the families and victims of those killed also noted that the incident was is clearly the handiwork of criminals that are bent on instilling fear, pain and sorrow among the people with a view to destabilizing the State and making a fortune from their criminality as well as rupturing the substantial peace attained,
He called on the good people of Ta’agbe village in Maingo to be vigilant and alert the security agencies on any suspected movement.
