Plateau State – In a bid to support education and ease the financial burden on students, Hon. Dr. Isaac Kyale Kwallu, a Nigerian businessman and politician, has launched the 2025 Free JAMB Registration Program for students across the Mikang/Quaanpan/Shendam Federal Constituency.
Hon. Kwallu, who is a member of the Nigerian Federal House of Representatives, representing Mikang/Qua’an-Pan/Shendam Federal Constituency, initiated the program to assist students in securing university admission.
As of Monday, February 3, 2025, at 3:30 PM, approximately 2,000 students have received vended PINs, which cover their JAMB registration fees, while over 100 candidates have successfully completed their biometric capture. The exercise is ongoing, with a target of 3,000 students, allocating 1,000 slots per Local Government Area (LGA).
The registration process, which commenced on January 31, 2025, is taking place at the JAMB-approved center at Our Lady of Fatima Girls Secondary School, Shendam. This initiative, now in its third edition, was first introduced by Kwallu during his tenure as Executive Chairman of Quaanpan LGA.
Many beneficiaries and their parents have expressed gratitude for the initiative, highlighting Kwallu’s continued dedication to education and community development. Despite political challenges, he remains committed to uplifting his constituents. They commended his leadership and pledged their support for his future aspirations, describing him as a leader whose commitment to the well-being of others remains unwavering.
