The Hisbah Board in Dandume Local Government Area of Katsina State has arrested several men and women during a late-night raid on a house allegedly used for immoral activities involving unmarried youths.

The board’s Information Officer, Malam Abdullahi Muntari, disclosed this in a statement, saying the operation was carried out on December 17, 2025, at about 9:30 p.m.

According to him, the raid was led by the Acting Operations Commander, Malam Aliyu Ahmed, following intelligence reports that the premises was being used for activities contrary to the moral values of the community.

“It is unfortunate that some people are comfortable allowing their houses to be used as dens for immoral acts,” Muntari said.

He confirmed that several young men and women were arrested during the operation, adding that investigations were ongoing to ascertain the extent of the alleged activities.

“We arrested several youths and we will thoroughly investigate the matter,” he stated.

Muntari further noted that the Hisbah Board would continue to conduct similar operations to uphold moral standards and safeguard the values of society within the local government area.
