A woman was left in tears after her car was submerged in floodwater following heavy rainfall in Lagos.
In a video shared online, the visibly distressed car owner could be seen crying as she lamented the damage caused by the flooding. The video showed floodwater had entered the car’s interior, including the engine compartment, rendering it unusable.
In tears, the car owner questioned why the roads in Lagos could not be fixed to avert such incidents. She stated that despite how expensive the house rent is, she still has to deal with flooding.
She lamented that she has to struggle to make a living and the economy is already frustrating, and now car issues have been added to her woes due to flooding.
