Governor Sule Appoints 62 New Aides to Deepen Inclusive Governance

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has approved the appointment of 22 Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) and 40 Special Assistants (SAs) in a bid to enhance service delivery and promote inclusive governance.

The announcement was made in a statement released on Monday evening by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Labaran Shuaibu Magaji, in Lafia.
Among the newly appointed SSAs are several former members of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly. Key appointments include:
  • Bala Mulki – SSA on NAGIS

  • Bawa Rabo – SSA on KAPDA

  • Peter Igeche – SSA on Culture

  • Abdullahi Ibrahim Hassan – SSA on Chieftaincy Affairs

  • Hashimu Suleiman Adda – SSA on Education

  • Abdullahi Angibi – SSA on Local Government Affairs

  • Barr. Danjuma Inusa Buji – SSA on Legal Services

  • Mrs. Larai Makpu – SSA on Youth Development

  • Raymond Akolo – SSA on Assembly Affairs

  • Abdullahi Yakubu Doma – SSA on Security

  • Beauty Ebu Onyawoyi – SSA on Women Affairs

  • Shittu Yakubu Musa – SSA on Pension Matters

  • Mohammed Baba Namu – SSA on Science and Technology

  • Mohammed Osu Lafiya – SSA on Humanitarian Affairs

New Special Assistants include:

  • Abdullahi Masalaci – SA on Political Matters

  • Blessing Otache – SA on Humanitarian Affairs

  • Mohammed Jibrin Kyafi – SA on Social Media

  • Ango Ngharni Emmanuel – SA on Social Media

Magaji stated that the appointments are with immediate effect, stating that they reflect the administration’s inclusive approach and commitment to efficient governance.
