Governor Mutfwang Urges Security Personnel to Pursue Bandits in Rural Communities of Plateau State

Plateau State Governor, Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has expressed deep sorrow over the recent coordinated attacks by bandits in several rural communities of Barkin Ladi Local Government area. The attacks have resulted in the loss of numerous lives and widespread destruction of property, leaving the affected communities of Kak, Ranyam, Nging, Lohala, and Buka devastated.

Governor Mutfwang conveyed his sympathies to the victims and their families while strongly condemning the heinous attacks that claimed the lives of innocent individuals. He called upon the security agencies to fulfill their constitutional duty of safeguarding lives and property in the state, emphasizing the urgent need to halt the senseless bloodshed and wanton destruction.

In an official statement released by the Director of Press and Public Affairs, the Governor urged the security agencies to consider deploying additional personnel to the communities under attack in order to prevent further loss of lives and property. He emphasized the importance of impartiality and advised them against involvement in local politics, emphasizing that their primary focus should be on providing security and maintaining law and order.
