The Nigerian gospel music community has been thrown into mourning following the death of gospel singer Taiwo Adegbodu, one half of the popular Adegbodu Twins.
The sad news was made public on Sunday by his twin brother and music partner, Kehinde Adegbodu, who announced the loss in an emotional social media post.
Expressing deep sorrow, Kehinde lamented the passing of his brother and ministry companion, describing the loss as overwhelming and difficult to comprehend.
Taiwo and Kehinde Adegbodu were widely known in gospel circles for their energetic worship ministrations, coordinated twin-stage performances, and strong presence at church programmes and Christian gatherings across Nigeria, particularly in the South-West.
Their music ministry earned them a loyal following among worshippers and gospel music audiences.
