Five female members of the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) Wuse II, Abuja, have lost their lives in a road accident while travelling to Southern Kaduna for a burial ceremony.
The tragic incident occurred on Friday as the church delegation was on its way to Samaru Kataf to attend the burial of the mother of one of its members, Mrs. Avong.
The deceased were identified as Mrs. Naomi Barnabas, Mrs. Julie Ladan, Mrs. Grace (Gambo) Daniel Sati, Mrs. Esther Tukur and Mrs. Theresa S. Gandu.
Several other members of the delegation reportedly sustained injuries in the accident and are currently receiving medical treatment.
The incident has thrown the ECWA Wuse II congregation and the families of the victims into mourning, with tributes pouring in for the deceased.
