A disturbing video has surfaced online showing a lecturer at Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Imo State, physically assaulting a male student in the presence of his colleagues.
In the viral clip, the students are seen standing around when the victim shifts his position. The lecturer immediately reacts by slapping him and delivering a kick, causing the student to fall hard on the concrete floor.
As other students scream in shock, the lecturer continues scolding the student, who tries to explain that he had a headache, which led to his movement.
Despite his explanation, the lecturer refuses to relent, while other students plead on his behalf, repeatedly saying, “Sorry sir.”
The incident has sparked outrage online, with many calling for disciplinary action against the lecturer.
