A former member of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries (TLCCRM) has accused the church’s founder, Pastor Lazarus Muoka, of using falsehoods and manipulative practices to control congregants.
In a viral video, the woman recounted her experiences, including a recent visit from a former colleague in the church’s Crowd Control Department. She claimed the visitor brought her one of the ministry’s signature “yellow jackets” and urged her to sleep beside it so that “the spirit of the pastor” could appear and reconvert her to Christianity.
Rejecting the claim, she described the jacket—often touted as having “bulletproof powers”—as nothing more than a marketing gimmick.
The ex-member also recalled a service where Pastor Muoka allegedly declared he had resurrected a man who had been dead for 10 hours. At the time, she said, she applauded the miracle because she was “brainwashed,” but she later questioned why similar miracles did not occur when the pastor’s wives, driver, and in-laws died.
She further alleged that Muoka’s teachings have indirectly led to the deaths of members who relied on the supposed supernatural protection of the yellow jackets.
