Speaking on stage while delivering her acceptance speech, when she
won an award at the 2018 Emmy Awards on Monday night, multi
award-winning Hollywood actress, Thandie Newton, said: “I don’t even believe in God, but I’m gonna thank her tonight.”

 

The screen star who won the outstanding supporting actress in a
drama for her role as Madam Millay in HBO science fiction television
series ‘Westworld’, said further, “I am so blessed. Without this, I am even so f*****g blessed.

“I can’t believe I am here. The cast and crew of Westworld, I love you all so much.”

 

At the Emmys, she was nominated alongside Lena Headey (Game of
Thrones), Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things), Vanessa Kirby (The
Crown), Alexis Bledel (The Handmaid’s Tale), Ann Dowd (The Handmaid’s
Tale), and Yvonne Strahovski (The Handmaid’s Tale).
