The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has formally accused controversial social media critic, Verydarkman, of cyberstalking and money laundering.
This development comes shortly after his release from EFCC custody, following widespread public outcry and protests across the country demanding his freedom.
A mugshot, which has since gone viral online, appears to show Verydarkman holding a placard detailing the charges of cyberstalking and money laundering leveled against him by the commission.
Notably, prior to his release, Verydarkman had publicly cautioned the EFCC against releasing any mugshot that linked him to allegations of money laundering, a warning that now appears to have been disregarded.
The release of the mugshot has sparked a wave of reactions on social media.
