A heartbreaking video has emerged, showing primary school students in Edo State, Nigeria, falling to their knees to implore the state government to address the deplorable condition of their school.

The video, recorded by a concerned community member, illustrates the dire state of the school building and the frustration of the local residents who have been grappling with this issue. The school in question has been the sole educational institution serving the community for several years.

He mentioned that the leadership of the primary school alerted the Local government authorities over the dilapidated school structure and according to him, they were told to move the school pupils to another school in another area.

The man alongside the pupils went on their knees to plead with the Edo state governor, Godwin Obaseki, to come to their aid and refurbish the school.
