The Board of
Trustees, Displaced Women and Children Foundation, the parent non-Governmental
organization of Face of Peace Global, write to introduce ourselves to you.
Displaced Women
and Children Foundation have in the past seven years supported the
entrepreneurial efforts of women and educational pursuits of children affected
by crisis. In tandem with our objectives, we collated data, verified and
registered over 11,000 victims of crisis and violence, amongst whom we have
trained 644 women in six different
skills acquisition scheme and intervening
in the educational pursuit of 1,870 of their children in Plateau State, hence
the need to reach out
Considering the onerous task of adding value to the lives
of crisis victims, we are compelled to implement innovative concepts like IDP PROJECT
RR T to provide a platform for the citizenry to participate and create a sustainable
medium to ensure stable educational pursuit of vulnerable children on the
Plateau.
We humbly implore You , to avail us the opportunity at your earliest
convenience to visit and brief you of the details as it relates to the OFFICIAL
PUBLIC PRESENTATION & LAUNCH of IDP- RRT PROGRAM on Friday 29th
April 2016 at Crest Hotel [old airport road]by 9am to enable us empower these women with trade
tools i.e [SEWING/ KNITTING MACHINES,
CHEMICALS / APPARATUS FOR SOAP MAKING, HAIR DRYER POULTRY PRODUCTS]for the
skills they acquired and learning materials i.e [Pencils. Exercise/Text Books,
Erasers, Biros, Rulers ]for the children
