Agent
of Football Star DIEGO MARADONA claims he was denied entry to the USA
following disparaging comments he made about U.S President Donald
Trump.

The football legend’s application for a visa was turned down — allegedly due to an interview he took in his home country.

Maradona,
called the president of the United States a ‘chirolita’, which in
Argentina refers to something of low value. His lawyer Matia Morla
explained: “When were about to get the visa, I said to him: ‘Diego,
please, don’t speak about the USA.’

And, during a TV interview, in the second question, they asked him: ‘What do you think of Donald Trump?’

He replied: ‘He is a chirolita.

Maradona
has had issues in the past with the United States — dating back over 20
years. During the 1994 World Cup, he failed a drugs test and was sent
home from the Argentina camp.

Furthermore, he had his visa
revoked and was told never to return to the country again. Maradona
wanted to be present for the trial of his ex-wife Claudia Villafane in
Miami in March.
