Renowned Nigerian musician Davido has expressed gratitude to his father, Adedeji Adeleke, for publicly defending him amid the ongoing paternity dispute involving his alleged baby mama, Ayo Labinjoh.
The controversy began when Ayo Labinjoh’s teenage daughter, Aanu Adeleke, wrote an open letter to Davido, demanding a paternity test.
Davido has denied ever meeting the girl, stating in a series of posts on X that five DNA tests conducted previously showed that Aanu Adeleke is not his daughter.
Ayo Labinjoh, however, has insisted that Davido is the father and dismissed the DNA tests as fake.
During a press conference on Wednesday, Adedeji Adeleke defended his son, revealing that the paternity test was conducted on both Davido and his cousin, singer B-Red.
Reacting to his father’s support, Davido shared a photo of them together on his Instagram page on Thursday and wrote: “Thank you my loving Father.”
