Nigerian Afrobeats sensation, Davido, has officially submitted his musical works for consideration at the prestigious 2024 Grammy Awards. This exciting revelation was shared by journalist Joey Akan on the platform “X,” shedding light on the various categories in which Davido’s work is in contention.
“Timeless,” Davido’s critically praised record, is taking centre stage in this Grammy campaign, with submissions in many categories.
According to Akan, the record is up for the coveted “Album of the Year” and “Best Global Music Album” awards.
“Feel,” one of the album’s highlight tracks, is also up for nomination in the “Best Global Music Performance” category.
Davido’s chart-topping smash, “Unavailable,” is also being nominated in three important categories.
The song has been nominated for “Song of the Year,” “African Music Performance,” and “Record of the Year” awards.
Joey Akan’s post highlighted the following Grammy Award submissions:
