Nigerian musician David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has fulfilled his promise to reward a female staff member at Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos, identified as Kekwaaru Ngozi Mary, who displayed honesty and integrity by returning a misplaced sum of $70,000 to a customer over the weekend.
The incident occurred when the guest, who pleaded anonymous, left behind a bag containing the substantial sum in one of the hotel’s suites.
Reacting to the development, Davido via his Twitter handle on Sunday, July 23, 2023, said he will give the lady $10,000 dollars.
He also asked the public to connect the lady with him to claim the money.
“Find her for me … I donate $10k,” he wrote.
After making his pledge, Davido looked for the lady and fulfilled his promise.
The lady was seen in a video call thanking the singer for fulfilling his pledge.
