World-famous Nigerian singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has celebrated with his personal police escort, Bawo after he got promoted to the rank of inspector in the Nigerian Police Force.
The Nigerian Force had announced that some of its officers were promoted to higher ranks.
Bawo who’s one of the promoted officers was seen in a video that surfaced online being congratulated by the singer.
In the video, Davido was seen affixing a new badge on the stolid-looking officer after which he gave him a congratulatory handshake.
“Congratulations on your promotion to Inspector of the Nigeria Police Force,” OBO remarked as he pinned the badge on his vest.
Bawo also took to his page to express his thanks to the musician for the recognition.
“Thank you my Good Boss @davido for the decoration of my new rank. For the love you’ve always been showing me I can’t pay you but I pledge to be faithful, LOYAL and honest. May God keep protecting and blessing you for us, Amen,” he wrote.
