The High Court of Lagos State has issued an interim order restraining Nollywood actress Lizzy Anjorin Lawal from publishing or circulating photographs of Priscilla Ojo’s son and posting content about the actress and her family on social media.
The order was granted on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, by Justice Yetunde Adesanya in Suit No. LD/ADR/6646/2026, following an application filed by Priscilla Ojo Mkambala, her husband, Tanzanian singer Juma Mussa Mkambala, and their son, Rakeem Mkambala.
Under the order, Anjorin was restrained from publishing, posting, circulating, uploading or broadcasting photographs of the couple’s son on her social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and TikTok.
The court also barred the actress from publishing or sharing editorials, videos and other content concerning Priscilla, Juma and their son on the platforms pending the hearing and determination of the substantive application before the court.
The order reportedly extends to several social media accounts allegedly associated with Anjorin, including accounts bearing variations of her name.
The court further directed that Anjorin, as well as anyone acting on her behalf, should cease and desist from publishing or broadcasting content concerning the applicants through the listed social media platforms.
The application was heard ex parte, meaning Anjorin was not present or heard by the court at that stage. The order is therefore an interim measure and is not a final determination of the dispute.
Priscilla made the development public on Friday after sharing copies of the court order on her Instagram Story.
The legal action comes amid a long-running public dispute involving Anjorin and members of Priscilla’s family, which has largely played out on social media.
The dispute has previously involved public exchanges between Anjorin and actress Iyabo Ojo, Priscilla’s mother, with Anjorin making various claims about the family online.
According to reports, Anjorin has also recently made claims questioning the parentage of Priscilla’s son. Those claims have not been independently verified and are not part of the interim order issued by the Lagos High Court.
As of the time of filing this report, Anjorin had not publicly responded to the latest court order.
The court has directed that the case file be returned to the Registry of the High Court of Lagos State for reassignment to the appropriate division as proceedings continue.
