A group of Celestial Church choir members has stirred controversy on social media after performing a freestyle adaptation of Burna Boy’s viral song, Lambo.
A video of the performance, which has now gone viral, shows the choir blending the song with their traditional worship style, drawing mixed reactions from the public.
Some social media users criticized the act, questioning the introduction of secular music into church services.
@GreatMindsComm expressed concern, saying, “I don’t know why things like this are now being introduced in Nigerian churches.”
Similarly, @benkleph disapproved, stating, “This is the worst video I have seen. You cannot embody light and darkness in the same vessel.”
